Refund Policy

Who sells
Made the Cut is run by Individual Entrepreneur Alexander Budkov, Tbilisi, Georgia. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it takes the payment, handles tax, sends the receipt and processes refunds. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase.
One thing is on sale: VIP, a subscription at $5/month or $40/year. What it unlocks is listed on the pricing page.
Refunds
Ask within 14 days of a charge and you get that charge back in full. That covers the first payment and every renewal, however much you used VIP, and you don't have to give a reason. When we refund a subscription charge we also cancel the subscription, so it doesn't charge you again, and VIP ends. Paddle returns the money to the payment method you paid with.
After 14 days a charge isn't normally refunded, except where the law gives you more (see below). If something went wrong, such as a double charge, a charge after you cancelled, or something you paid for that didn't work, write to us whenever you notice and we'll put it right.
How to ask for a refund
- Through Paddle: go to paddle.net and request a refund, or use the link in the receipt Paddle emailed you.
- Or write to us at contact@madethecut.io from the email you paid with, or with the order number from your receipt. We issue the refund through Paddle.
Free trial
A free trial runs only when Paddle's checkout shows one on the plan you pick, and its length is shown before you confirm. Nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then from Manage subscription in your account, and you're never charged. A trial costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund for it; the 14 days start from the first charge after it.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Manage subscription in your account, which opens Paddle's portal. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: VIP keeps working until then, and you are not charged again. Your lists are not affected. If the portal won't open, write to us and we'll cancel it for you.
Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn't refund the current one by itself. If you are within 14 days of that charge and want the money back too, ask for a refund as above.
Your statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA, the UK or another country that gives you a legal right to cancel or withdraw from a purchase, this policy adds to that right and does not reduce it. Paddle's Buyer Terms set out those rights country by country.
